Book Review

When i was reading this book, i feel like I am watching Ugly Betty and Nodame Cantabile... we get to meet Beth who is known to her classmates as the "Beast" cause of what she looks like, but even though she is ugly she has a wonderful voice. and along her choir competition she met a guy, a guy she truly loved and they share the same passion for music but when she returned home she realized that her best friend Scott, who has been with her along the way loves her also.

My Thoughts?

at first i think the description given to Beth was a bit too exaggerated i can't imagine someone looking so horrible, she even made kids cry and i can't imagine someone being called a "beast" oh trust me i know what it's like to be bullied, but what has Beth gone through is a bit too much? i guess i can say that she is Bullied very severely .

the plot of the story is your very usual ugly duckling turned into a beautiful swan, but that didn't made the story your typical fairy tale, cause there is something behind the book title, the story is actually heart breaking. i never guessed that it would end like that, and also i never would have guess what is up with Derek.

Overall: a so-so book, i'm not actually a big fan of romance it will take a lot of drama for me to be moved by a certain romance novel, so this one is a nice quick read, not my cup of tea but this one left me really refreshed and i feel like smiling to the whole world when i was done reading it.
