Book Review: The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith

Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?

Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. She's stuck at JFK, late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon to be step-mother that Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's in seat 18C. Hadley's in 18A.

Twists of fate and quirks of timing play out in this thoughtful novel about family connections, second chances and first loves. Set over a 24-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.

BOOK REVIEW

This would have to be my first Love Story Book I have read for 2012. This one kinda disappoint me, cause I was actually expecting this book to really answer the Question that's been intriguing me like
"can Love at first sight actually does exists?"
turns out the book didn't even give me even a slightest hint if such thing/phenomenon does exist.

the book is like Anna and the French Kiss, I mean the story line has the same flow, so I was expecting that It'll be as good as the book, but as it turns out, it was great in the first couple of pages, really gives me this giddy factor, but as I read on it turns out that the book is like really too good to be true, like the events stated in the book is not really possible to happen in real life, I know this is a fiction book, but some books that I've read at least contain a bit of realism to them, but this one is just, well. Too impossible to occur in any Human living on this planet.

I gave it 3 stars cause the first couple of pages is good, and there was a sense of unpredictability in the plot, but as everything goes on, everything just gets crappy and I didn't like it.

after reading this my judgement of the probability of love at first sight would probably be like Zero to none percent that it would happen in real life. meh. :|
